Complete race report Diga Racing - GP UK

The track was perfect for the GP of Great Britain. The weather conditions were good but very hot for the riders as the sun was present since the early morning.

The day started with an impressive parade. All the riders present this weekend, they were more than 300 went on the track. The parade was headed by Dave Thorpe and all the riders followed him on the track, the small guys and the big guys all together, beautiful to watch this big MX family.

José ended 15th in the warm-up and Priit was 23rd.

First race MX2
José didn't start very good and in the first lap he was 12th in front of Banks and behind Tonus. During the 3rd lap he lost 2 positions when Van Horebeek and Banks passed him. José didn't manage to catch up with them immediately and stayed in 14th position for some laps. In the 7th lap he succeeded to beat Leib for the 13th position. Three laps later José came in 12th position when he passed Banks. Finally the Diga rider ended in 12th position in front of Banks and behind Lieber. Priit was 24th after the start but in the second lap he lost one position. During the 3rd lap he made a mistake and had to start his catch up race from position 28. Priit managed to come forwards and came back to position 25 but then he got into problems and was forced to abandon the race.

Second race MX2
José had a good start at the gate but he was immediately trapped in a group of riders and lost several places. He managed to rectify the situation in the first lap and was riding in 8th position behind Ferrandis and in front of Lieber. During the second lap he came forwards to position 7 but one lap
later he lost a fight with Tonus and came back to position 8. In the 5th lap the French riders Teillet and Tixier passed him. Two laps later he lost a duel with Larsen and the Diga rider was now 11th in front of Colfdenhoff. In the last part of the race José managed to come to position 9 when he first passed
Larsen and later Tixier but then he got into problems and finally the Diga Racing rider reached the finish in 14th position in front of Getteman and behind Tonkov.

In the end result for the GP in England, José was 11th in front of Lieber and behind Coldenhoff. Priit was35th.

In the classification for the Championship, José Butron is now 9th, and Priit 27th.
